SUMIFS
Definition
An extension of SUMIF that allows multiple conditions. The syntax is =SUMIFS(sum_range, criteria_range1, criterion1, [criteria_range2, criterion2, ...]). Unlike SUMIF, the sum_range comes first. SUMIFS is critical for financial dashboards where you need to sum amounts filtered by both date range and category, such as "total marketing spend in Q1 2026."
