Conditional Formatting
Definition
A feature that automatically changes cell appearance (color, bold, icons) based on rules you define. In Google Sheets, access it via Format > Conditional formatting. Common uses include highlighting overdue invoices in red, color-coding budget categories that exceed their limit, and creating heat maps of marketing performance data. Conditional formatting transforms raw data into visual dashboards without any coding.
